Greenwood Acres Family Campground

Welcome to the Greenwood Acres Family Campground (GWA) website. We are a family owned and operated business with over 1100 sites with over 700 seasonal campers.  GWA is located in Jackson, Michigan on the south-end of Goose Lake, a private, spring-fed lake with no public access.  Some of our highlights include:

• Camping at GWA from April 1 through October 31 with Memorial Day Weekend through Labor Day Weekend being the core, seasonal camping.
• Free, 9-hole Golf Course open only to those with seasonal or over-night camping at GWA.
• Enjoy swimming, fishing and boating on Goose Lake. The 5mph speed limit is enforced because of the size and environmental structure of Goose Lake and majority of boats are pontoon.
• Close-by area lakes for jet-skis and watering skiing.
• Newly re-modeled swimming pool and children’s play center
• Weekly activities of Euchre, Bunco and Pinochle, free kid's arts and Sunday morning golf scramble
• Themed weekends celebrating Mardi Gras, Christmas in July, Halloween, Tropics and more.
• General Store, Recreation Center, Restaurant, weekend tram rides and old-fashion merry-go-round

Over the past several years, GWA has become a large contributor to the American Cancer Society (ACS). During the camping months, the seasonal campers plan, organize and coordinate numerous fundraising events for the ACS. Some of the activities include collecting returnable bottles and cans, prize drawings, poker runs and activities involved with our theme-weekends. The proceeds from these events go directly to the ACS.
